People in Warawa Local government have been advised to support birth registration exercise of there children in order to enhance progress the area.
The council chairman , Alhaji Yusuf Abdullahi Danlasan stated this while receiving the staff of National Orientation Agency (NOA) in charge of the local government who paid him a courtesy call in his office, recently.
Alhaji Yusuf Abdullahi said that the local government administration would give all the necessary support and cooperation to the programme and policies of federal government toward achieving the set objectives.
The chairman who explained the importance of birth certificate stressed the need for the parents to ensure all the new born children were registered.
Earlier, NOA officer in charge of the area Hajiya Halima Musa who led the staff of the agency said they were in his office to introduce themselves and called on the council to assist the staff to enable them discharge their duties of enlightening the public on government’s programmes and policies diligently
Meanwhile, the council chairman has led a powerful delegation to condole the state APC party chairman Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas over the death of his brother, late Arif Abbas .
Alhaji Danlasan described the death of late Arif as a great loss to his family and state in general as contained in a statement issued by the council Information officer, Salisu kassim yakasai.
