Secretaries of the 44 Local Government Councils in Kano State have been charged to give maximum supports and cooperations to their chairmen for the development of the third tier of government.
The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Usman Alhaji made the call in his office when the council secretaries paid him a courtesy visit, recently.
Alhaji Usman Alhaji stated that giving full support to their executive officers would foster more harmonious relationship between them and the general public in their constituencies hence, the full impact of dividend of democracy would be thoroughly felt.
He added that apart from the derivable benefits of the harmonious relationship,minor misunderstandings would be quickly resolved without interference from any third party.
Earlier, the forum chairman, Alhaji Lawal Abdu Garun Mallam has stated that they were at the cabinet office to formally introduce themselves,tap from the wealth of experiences of the SSG and put what they have learnt into practice for the development of the state, as contained in a statement issued by Musa Tanko Muhammad, the spokesperson of Cabinet Office.
