Alumni Association of National Institute has announced plan to hold National Dialogue on security.
National Vice President of the Association, Amb. Emmanuel Okafor revealed this during election of executive officers of Katsina State branch today.
Okafor said the National dialogue which will hold in October this year is part of contribution of the members toward unity of the country.
He said with current insecurity and agitation for secession, there is need for the association to assist in addressing these problem.
“We are worried over the insecurity situation and agitation for secession by some section of this country, the association has plan to build a national dialogue,” Okafor lamented.
He noted that the national dialogue will assist for the association to provide its contribution in addressing issue affecting the nation.
The vice president commended interim committee of Katsina chapter of the association for organizing a successful election.
The occasion election was conducted for new officials of the association to run its affairs for two years.
Former Head of service of Katsina state, Aliyu Daura was elected as chairman along with other nine members.
