National Chairman, Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a wa Iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau has called on Plateau State Government to hasten punishing those behind recent killing of innocent citizens in the state.
Sheik Lau, who spoke with newsmen in Katsina today, said punishing people behind the massacre of the innocent citizen was the only way to ensure peace in the state.
He recalled that some years back a top shoot of a military Brigadier General Alkali was killed by some people but government failed to punished people behind the killing.
He said failure by Plateau State Government to punish those sponsoring killing in the past, allow people to take law in their hand thereby making the state unpeaceful to others.
The National Chairman who condemned the recent killing in Rukuba town of the state, described the sponsored of the killings as enemies of effort to bring peace in the country.
Sheik Lau who was in Katsina to launch tree planting campaign told newsmen that JIBWIS has plan to plant over 1 million trees seedlings in each state in Nigeria.
He said the tree planting was part of contribution of JIBWIS to fight climate charge.
The chairman directed followers of JIBWIS to plant tree in Mosques and their various houses.
