This is to inform the Muslim Ummah that Tuesday April 13, which is equivalent to the 29th day of Sha’aban 1442AH shall be the first day as new moon of Ramadan 1442AH and as the day for the Muslims Ummah to commence the fasting of the month of Ramadan.
The monarch said the decision was as a result if the sighting of the new month by Islamic clerics and various Islamic groups nationwide.
The Sultan there fore advised Muslim.Ummah to comply with the COVID -19 protocols in their five daily prayers .
He also urged Muslims to be dedicate in observing their religion obligations and pray fervently for the nation peace,unity and shun any political differences.
While urging wealthy individual to assist less previllage in the society to enable them observe their fasting with ease.
