Osinbajo commiserates with Gaya over son’s death

The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has visited Kano State to commiserate with the Senator, representing Kano South Senatorial District, Arc. Kabir Ibrahim Gaya, over the death of his son, Sadiq Kabir Gaya, who passed away recently.

The Vice President has also showed his concern to the family as he described the demise as that of a brother in same field.

“A lawyer like me, so I have a very special relationship with him,” said the Vice President.

He added that: “I feel a very personal loss. I commiserate and condole with the Distinguished Senator and all members of his family, the government and people of Kano State, who have lost a very special son in this young man.”

He has, however, expressed that: “We believe in God, He is the only one Who can give and take life. No matter what the circumstances are, only God can decide how long a man would live.”

The Vice President also encouraged the family, saying: “All will be well. I know that even with his own family, his wife and his children, all will be well with them.

“I want to express my condolence to all of us that are here and to pray that the Almighty God will give the family peace and that we will not see that kind of thing again.

“We will not experience the death of young people in our midst again.”

Sen. Gaya, in his words, thanked the Vice President for coming, saying that his visit encouraged the entire family.
