NOUN VC vows support to Kano centers

Vice Chancellor of National Open University of Nigeria, Professor Olufemi Peters has assured to continue to give priority attention to its study centers in Kano State.

The vice Chancellor gave the assurance while inspecting the level of progress so far at the permanent site of the Northwest Zonal Headquarters situated at Dawakin kudu in Kano state.

Accompanied by the member House of Representatives, representing Dawakin kudu and Warawa, Hon. Mustapha Bala Dawaki, the vice Chancellor said he was extremely delighted with level of progress so far at construction site.

Prof. Peter commended the lawmaker for his zeal and patriotism in bringing the NOUN to Dawakin Kudu in an effort to get his people educated.

In his remarks, the former Vice Chancellor of NOUN, Prof. Abdallah Uba Adamu who was part of the inspection team described the Northwest center in Dawakin kudu as the best of its kind in Nigeria and west Africa, as contained in a statement issued by Abubakar Ibrahim Sharada, the Information Officer of the council and made available to The Triumph today.
