No extension for schools’ resumption dates in Kano – MOE

The attention of the Kano State Ministry of Education has been drawn of a widely circulated rumour that the resumption dates to schools from the third term vacation has been extended by one week.
A statement from Director Public Enlightenment of the ministry, Malam Aliyu Yusuf, which he made available to The Triumph in Kano had said.

It said the rumour was cooked by some elements who always want create confusion in the minds of the parents and guardians when ever an end of vacation or break time is approaching to an end.

“Parents and guardians of pupils and students of public and private primary and post primary schools in the state should therefore note that the resumption dates for boarding schools remained Sunday 11th September, while that for the day schools is 12th September 2022 respectively.

“While thanking the parents and guardians for their supports and cooperation, the ministry is urging them to ensure compliance with the resumption dates as penalty awaits defaulters,” said the statement.
