National Examination Council (NECO) has released the examination results for Kano state students.
A statement issued by Alhaji Aliyu Yusuf, the spokesperson of the state Ministry of Education, today said this followed the efforts of the ministry in securing funds from the state government for the payment of the NECO examination fees by the state government.
The release of the result according to the state Commissioner of Education, Malam Muhammad Sanusi Sa’id Kiru, will enable the students to secure admissions in universities and other tertiary institutions of their choices.
While urging the students to use the registration scratch cards in accessing and printing out their examination results, he further appealed to the general public to inculcate the habit of appreciating what the government is doing considering the competing demands on the limited resources at its disposal.
The commissioner therefore, commended the state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo and all the chairmen of the state 44 local government councils for their support in this direction.
He also reiterated the determination of the state government to continue to support the education sector.
