Kano State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje sent a powerful delegation to Wase town, in Plateau State, to go and commiserate with the families of late Alhaji Zakari Wase, who died and was buried in Wase
Late Wase’s death, a brother to Col Muhammad Abdullahi Wase (rtd), former Military Administrator in Kano state, was shocking according to the governor.
Alhaji Sahabo Bawuro, Hon. Musa Iliasu Kwankwaso, Commissioner for Rural and Community Development and Alhaji Abbas Umar Ganduje, were the delegation from Kano, that were in Wase on Saturday, for the condolence.
“We received the demise of Alhaji Zakari Wase with shock. May Allah Subhanahu Wata’Ala bless his gentle soul. Ameen. May Almighty Allah forgive all his shortcomings,” the governor prayed.
During the condolence visit, the families expressed their happiness and appreciated the governor for keeping that long and strong tie, between him (governor Ganduje) and relations of late Col Wase.
Not only the family members of fhe deceased, the same appreciation came also from the neighbourhood. According to Bawuro, “People were trooping to receive us, since our arrival.”
