KNSG committed to improve orphans living standard

Kano State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Dr. Zahra Umar Muhammad Umar has restated the state government resolve to continue to improve the living standard of orphans in the state.

The commissioner state this while conducting annual Children’s Day celebration at Government House yesterday.

Dr . Zahra’u commended the present administration under the leadership of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and His wife Prof. Hafsat Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for the support being rendered to the ministry.

She then appreciated the commitment of the donor partners and all the stakeholders that contribute for the betterment of the state children.

Dr. Zahra,u called on the children to pay more attention to their studies for a progressive life .

The commissioner and permanent secretary of the ministry, Hajiya Amina Aminu Kano presented an Award of Excellence to Prof. Hafsat on behalf of orphans of Nassarawa Children’s Home, as contained in a statement issued by Bahijja Malam Kabara, the Spokesperson of the ministry and made available to The Triumph.
