Kano State Commissioner for Tourism and Culture Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmed Karaye has reiterated government resolved to continue to partner with any institution or Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs) for speedy development of tourism sector in the state.
The commissioner who dropped the hints while receiving the high power delegation from the Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) who call on him in his office, recently.
Karaye said the present administration is up and doing toward revamping the tourism activities in the state, which give birth to the creation of Tourism and Culture ministry, the first of its kind in kano.
He than charged the delegation to always liase and collaborate with the ministry to achieve the set goals and ensure proper utilisation of tourism and culture base on the norms and value of people in the state and Country at large.
The commissioner also pledged to discuss their needs with Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for prompt response, he said.
Earlier, in his address, the Coordinator, Northwest Zonal Officer NTDC, AG Bako, said the purpose of their visit was to intimate the commissioner for the forthcoming tourism stakeholders meeting in kano which is expected to hold in August, 2021, ad contained in a stayement issued by Ismail Garba Gwammaja, the spokesman of the ministry and made available to The Triumph, yesterday
