The chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Gwale Local Government Area and one of the members of the Kano State transition Committee, Alhaji Abdullahi Shu’aibu Kirare has expressed his gratitude to God and the entire people of the state who came out and voted for their candidate as governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf in the recently conducted general election.
He said that they were seeking prayers from the people for God to give the new governor the power to fulfill the promise he made to the people of the state.
Alhaji Kirare, a prominent farmer, who the former military president of the country, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida had given him a certificate of appreciation in the field of agriculture during his regime, said agriculture, in the new administration, would be something to be improved as the governor-elect, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf is a farmer who knows all the problems of farmers.
Alhaji Kirare said that the new administration would revive and develop the agricultural sector by providing good quality seeds and fertilizer for farmers and farming equipment. He called on the people of the state to give the new administration cooperation and support to achieve its goals and improve the development of state in every aspect.
