Kano state chapter of the African Democratic Congress has organized a regal reception for its members to celebrate success it recorded during the just concluded gubernatorial election in the state.
The reception which held on the 22nd day of March,2023,at the premises of Nigeria Council of Ulama, situated at Court Road, Kano. Delivering his speech, the party’s gubernatorial candidate Malam Ibrahim Khalil said that, the ADC in Kano recorded tremendous successes considering the fact that its conducted themselves peacefully & orderly during and after the election.
He further maintained that, the gathering was organised purposely to showcase the success recorded by members who appear to be most disciplined voters all over,adding that,the occasion corresponds good omen both Wednesday & Ramadan 1444 eve.
Malam Khalil further informed those in attendance that,the struggle for Kano emancipation just started,as such let’s forge head together to achieve desired goals of transforming Kano in earnest.
To the votes casted for him by the elctorate, Malam Khalil described them as precious golds because of being real devoid of any malpractice or irregularities.
He then thanked Allah plus repentance for human shortcomings. The party’s chairman Alhaji Musa Ungogo, the party’s governorship running mate, Dr. Aminu Abdul-Rahman Warawa hundreds supporters & some members of Nigeria Council of Ulama attended the unique gatherings.
