The Director General, Kano Investment Promotion Agency and Diaspora, Hajiya Hama Ali Aware has assured investors the agency’s commitment in providing enabling environment for them with a view to carrying out their businesses with ease.
Hajiya Hama stated this during a town Hall meeting with different stakeholders on the proposed Kano Economic Summit which would be Organised by agency in the near future held ay Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Conference Hall, recently.
“It is our responsibility to ensure enabling business environment as well as flawless and hitch free processes to attract both domestic and foreign investors to the state, ” she said.
The director general further explained that, the main objective of the Kaninvest was to promote, facilitate and encourage large scale investments in the state and ensure aftercare for investors.
In their separate remarks, the Chairman Manufacturers Association Kano State branch, Alhaji Kabiru Musa Adam, and Chairman Kano State Farmers Association, Alhaji Zubairu, as well as Secretary to the Kano state Traders Union, Aliyu Lamin urged Kaninvest to accord much priority to small and medium enterprises for rapid development of the state.
They also applauded the effort of the state and management in ensuring Kano become the prime destination for investment in Africa, according to Aliyu M. Zangina, the Information Officer of the agency and made available to The Triumph, recently.
