A traditional title holder in Kano State, Talban Panshekara, Amb. Isyaku Yahaya has called on the people of the country to come out and vote peacefully in tomorrow’s election and subsequent ones in the nation.

Amb. Yahaya made the call while talking to journalists recently in Kano.

He said that the people in the nation should avoid favoritism, take care and choose the right leaders, in order to ensure its peace, stability and development.

He added that they should do everything that would protect their dignity by choosing the right and good candidates they believed in them.

The monarch pointed out that the people should consider the current situation in the country of insecurity and the cost of living as well as the hardships caused by the change in the economic situation.

He called on the people to avoid anything that would cause violence during the election.

“This is because violence will never cause any solution. There is need for them to be patient with the current situation.

“There will be a good hope for solution in the near future by the grace of God,” he stated.

Amb. Yahaya called on Nigerians to note that if the election holds and that good people were elected, they would improve the development of the country.

He added: “If those who are not suitable are elected, then the suffering will continue till another election.”

He then commended the steps taken by President Muhammadu Buhari, saying that it would help in preventing vote buying during the elections and manipulation of the election by other bad ones in the society.
