Kano State governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has appointed two Special Advisers, as he admonished them to maintain their proven track records and comply with global best practice while discharging their duties in their new offices.
Those appointed are Auwalu Ibrahim Sale, who was appointed as Special Adviser Social Investment Programme and Focal Person National Social Investment Programme (NSIP), Kano State.
Also, Baba Aminu Zubairu, who was formerly Senior Special Assistant Social Investment Programme and Focal Person NSIP, is now appointed and promoted to Special Adviser on Education.
All the appointments are with immediate effect.
Governor Ganduje appreciated their achievements in the past and reminded them that, they were chosen from many, “…which says a lot about your pedigree and experience in team work,” he added.
“While you are reporting to your new offices, you are advised to work hard and make sure that your performance creates platform upon which our government could continue to deliver dividends of democracy to the electorates,” he directed.
He further urged them to leave good and sound legacies before leaving office.
“Team works, as well as use of ICT, are necessary tools for victory and successful implementation of government policies,” he told them.
