Kano State Government has reiterated commitment to continue with schools renovation and pupils feeding programme across the state.
The state chairman of Community Promotion Council (CPC), Hon. Abdullahi Ya’u Yanshana stated this during an interview with press men in his office.
Hon. Yanshana said the council visited over 25 local government areas to assess the level of the work.
“I’m satisfied with many local government areas’ renovations and I also directed some to make correction, for example, at Rikadawa Primary School in Madobi Local Government Area, nine classroom blocks were specified,” he disclosed.
He added that the condition of some schools was beyond rehabilitation but reconstruction.
On pupils’ feeding program, Hon. Yanshana said that all arrangements have been completed for review of the exercise.
He commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for initiating the project and his zeal for the development of the education sector in the state, according to Sa’ad Umar Faruk, the Public Relations Officer of the Council.
