President Muhammadu Buhari has been hailed for his efforts at ensuring the success of the NNPC/AKK gas pipeline project in the country.
The commendation was made recently by Engr. Yusuf Usman while chatting with our reporter.
He noted that the project is meant to develop the economy of not only Kano, Northern region, but the entire nation.
Engr. Usman described the project as laudable in view of the immense benefit it is expected to bring to the citizens of the area.
According to him, the president deserves more accolades from the citizens for the initiative as it would enhance their socio-economic life.
He similarly passed vote of confidence on Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of the state for inaugurating a committee that would ensure timely completion of the project.
It could be recalled that Governor Ganduje, while inaugurating the committee recently under the chairmanship of Engr. Muazu Magaji at the Government House informed the general public that part of the committee’s terms of reference is to among other things coordinate and to ensure timely implementation of the project in close partnership with the NNPC for all information, assistance and other essential components either from Kano State Government to the NNPC or vice versa towards accomplishing the project.
Engr. Usman called on all and sundry especially wealthy individuals, to help the government by participating fully and contributing their quota in actualizing the project.
