Borno visits Kano to learn contributory health management

The Executive Secretary, Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KSCHMA), Dr. Halima Muhammad Mijinyawa and the management staff of the agency received the Borno State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (BOSCHMA) team, who came to the Agency for a three day study tour.


KSCHMA has became a learning center of the Contributory Healthcare scheme for the states, especially from the Northern part of the country.
Dr. Mijinyawa stated that, all the success recorded by the agency in the implementation of the scheme is due to the tremendous support by Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje since the establishment of the agency.
On his part, the Executive Secretary BOSCHMA, Dr. Saleh Abba appreciated the warm reception from the state and her team, even though this is not their first visit to the agency, however the hospitality is commendable.
During their stay, they will learn about the operation of various departments in the agency and will also visit some healthcare facilities to see the practical aspect of the implementation of the scheme in the engaged hospitals in the state, according to a statement issued by Mohammad Nura Yusuf, the Public Relations officer KSCHMA and made available to The Triumph, today.
