Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has advised Fulani women milk sellers in Kebbi State to continue to imbibe modern dairy production of processing cow milk into yoghourt introduced by incumbent administration.
In an interaction with Fulani women at Ficcinga, Governor Bagudu explained that the objective of the scheme was to modernize local cow milk production and ease the difficulty of the milk sellers of trekking long distances to hawk the product.
The governor added that milk processed through modern method would also last longer before expiry to avoid loss of resources.
Senator Bagudu directed the authorities concerned to provide drinking water to the Fulani settlement of Ficcinga near Gulumbe, in Birnin Kebbi Local Government Area.
