APC campaign committees: Ganduje inaugurates 3,428 members

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has inaugurated new committees of 3,428 members for All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of 2023 general election tasked on them to work day and night for the success of all candidates of the state.

The governor called on all the state citizens to elect 24 members of House of Representatives, three Senators and 40 members of the state House of Assembly under the platform of APC for continuity and good governance.

Governor Ganduje inaugurated the committee yesterday at Sani Abacha Indoor Stadium, with himself as its chairman, while his deputy and the party flag bearer, Alhaji Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, as its vice chairman.

He said: “I call for all the committee members to work hard for the success of the party and all its members.

“It is your responsibility to work day and night and make sure that the party success during election time.”

The governor also hoped and assured that APC would win its election by initiating new form of campaign strategies where the governor and all party members would visit and sleep in almost of the local governments of the state during campaign rally in order to discuss with people and listen to their complaints.

The women campaign council, the governor informed, would go around the 44 local governments of the state, discuss and listen to all women by urging them to vote for APC.

He also described the party flag bearer, Alhaji Gawuna as dedicated and trustworthy candidate along with his running mate, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo as tested and trusted. “Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna is a competent person, trustworthy person, and his running mate, Alhaji Sule Garo, a young man, tried, tasted and trusted.

“I believe, this is a very strong team that will bail us out. Complete the good work we have started as we completed the one we inherited from the previous two governments,” he said.

On his part, the deputy governor and APC flag bearer, expressed his appreciation to Governor Ganduje for his well deserved choice of campaign committee, adding that, besides the committees, all party members were included in struggling for the success of the party. “During election, you should all go your ward and work deligently. Insha Allah, when becoming the state governor of the state, we will not betray or disrespect you,” he emphasized.

The state chairman of party, Prince Abdullahi Abbas, expressed his hope that, by Allah’s will, before 12 o’clock, APC would win its election. “Our gubernatorial candidate is capable to compete and win election and nothing will hinder or prevent our party to win.

“This time around, there would be no inconclusive, APC will directly emerge victory as no government work and provide free education to the state than Governor Ganduje’s administration.

“For Flyover and bridges in the state, the administration of Ganduje surpasses all the previous ones as many people from every nooks and crannies of the country come to Kano to witness Governor Ganduje’s works,” he stated.

The party chairman called on local government chairmen and party caucus to respect and work with party agents and, during the choice of the party agents, it would be based on merit.
