A woman from Madari in Warawa Constituency has delivered a baby boy amidst distribution of delivery kits sponsored by Rep. Mustapha Bala.
Shortly after the delivery, the woman was assisted by the midwifery who were at the event to educate them on how to use the kits.
The infant is named Ahmad and the state first lady promised a ram for seven day slaughter.
However, the kits include sanitary pads, pampers, washing materials buckets infant clothes, towels, surgical blade, soap among others.
The event took place at Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje Stadium, Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area today.
About 1,000 women benefited with the empowerment which was part of the member representing Dawakin Kudu and Warawa Federal Constituency. Rep. Sani popularly know as Mai Gidan Ruwa projects.
The kits were secured through Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH).
Speaking at the occasion, Rep. Sani said he accords priority to women empowerment because of their weaknesses and honesty, noting that this gesture was started since 2017.
He reiterated that only women with APC card carrying membership would benefit from the empowerment, appealing to them to vote for the party exclusively.
He revealed that a lot of health projects were executed within the constituency, adding that the Warawa Hospital secured by him has facilities that could hardly get at the state hospitals.
The lawmaker further said over 10,000 constituents benefited with medical outreach sponsored by him.
Rep. Sani said very soon People Living With Disability would also be empowered to enable them to be self reliance.
One of the paramedical staff of AKTH, Nafisatu Adamu advised pregnant women and their husbands to ensure taking their children for immunisation, adding that the kits given to them are very important at delivery period.
In their separate remarks, APC Spokesman, Ahmad Aruwa and its Woman Leader, Hajiya Fatima Dala said the party is proud with him for bringing dozens of projects to the constituency.
