Sir, in particular, the esteemed decision to assign the all-important office of Head of Civil Service to you, symbolizes an eloquent recognition of your prolific stature of statesmanship nurtured over the years in your astute public service career of immense prowess, personal credibility and patriotism.
As you settle down to face the challenges of your new assignment, l and other compatriots who have had privilege of official intercourse with you, remain confident and pray that your worthy personal attributes of administrative acumen, transparency and abiding faith in morality in public life according to the ordained values and other state ethos, shall see you through to creditably superintend over the onerous responsibilities of safeguarding the status-quo ante of the public service.
