Emir of Karaye, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar II has said that the rationale behind the creation of additional Emirates in the state is to assist the government’s commitments towards transformation.
Emir Abubakar II made the remarks while receiving the Economics Students of Yusuf Maitama Sule University who pay him a courtesy visit in his palace, recently.
The Emir stressed the need for the Emirates to put heads together towards champion the cause of their people.
Alhaji Abubakar II used the occasion to call on people to take precaution measures against cholera infection.
The Monarch advised people to always sanitize themselves, and avoid uses of contaminated food so as to be strictly guarded against the disease.
Earlier, a Leader of the delegation Dr. Yusuf Kofar Mata said, the students were students of Agric Economics and Economics studies under Economics Department of Yusuf Maitama Sule University who were in the excursion tour to the Emirate.
Dr. Yusuf Kofar Mata maintained that, the students are designed to visit Chalawa Goge Dam and agrarian areas in the Emirate, according to a statement issued by Haruna Gunduwawa, the Information Officer of the council.
