Governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State congratulates the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III as he marks his 15th year as the leader of Muslim Ummah and President Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs .
Badaru, in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant (Print Media), Ahmad Muhammad Danyaro, in Dutse, described the Sultan as a devoted monarch and trailblazer dedicated to promoting tolerance, peace and tranquility in the country.
The Jigawa State governor described the Sultan as an “advocate of peace, bridge builder, detribalized leader and great reformer since ascending the throne of his forefathers”.
The governor prayed to God to grant the Sultan more years of fruitful and purposeful service to the Sokoto Caliphate, Nigeria and humanity in general.
