Kano State governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf has reassured the people of the state of his administration’s commitments towards making the state a better place through the provision of meaningful human capital development projects.
He gave the assurance during the commencement of the fifth Executive Council meeting at the council chamber of Government House.
He said that the administration would ensure full implementation of electioneering campaign promises to the people so that they would attest the impact of good leadership.
The governor revealed that within the 100 days of his administration, a lot have been achieved, particularly in the areas of education, health, environment, water resources, rural and human development as well as security among others.
He then attributed the successes recorded to the collaborative support with the members of the state executive council, people of the state, security agencies and members of the press who have been around rendering support to the government tirelessly.
While calling for more support from the people in the state, he maintained that the state remain the only place in his mind and always willing to see to its realistic development.
He said that the state government has in the last three days gagged off the distribution exercise of palliatives to people from the 44 local government areas with a view to alleviating their sufferings in the current present economic downturn.
He added that the government would initiate more viable ways that would benefit its teeming populace.
