Establishment of more rice mill processing industries by a renown businessman, Alhaji Isah Gerawa in Kano State will contribute in providing job opportunities to the teeming youths in Jigawa and Kano States.
Jigawa State Commissioner for Land and Survey, Alhaji Sagir Musa said this while speaking with journalists recently.
He said the industries would assist in reducing the problem of unemployment in the society as well as boost the economy of the nation which would encourage farmers to engage actively in agriculture.
He congratulated the proprietor of Gerawa Industry for establishing the firm that would contribute to the development of the two states and the entire nation.
The commissioner said, under his office, the state government is planning to establish geographical information on land registration, revealing that this would help in providing more security to land owners and help in making Jigawa a well designed town and attractive.
Alhaji Musa said the state government, under the leadership of Alhaji Badaru Abubakar, approved the expansion of Army Barracks land in Dutse as well as establishment of Police Training College in Gwaram.
