Ramadan support: Karaye emir urges wealthy to double assistance

The Emir of Karaye, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar II has stressed the need for wealthy individuals in the society to double their assistance to poor citizens in this month of Ramadan.

The Emir made remarks last night in his speech to mark the sighting of the new month of Ramadan.

The nonarch enjoined Muslims to always abide by the teaching of Islam of being honest, patient, tolerance and brotherhood.

In another development, the Emir has turbaned Yunusa Yusuf, Suleiman Haruna and Sa’adu Saleh Dare-mudu as Imam, Deputy and Deputy Imam two of Daburau Friday Mosque in Madobi Local Government Area.

The Emir also turbaned Malam Yusuf Ali as Deputy Imam of Kubarachi Friday Mosque in Madobi local government area, as disclosed to The Triumph by Haruna Gunduwawa, the spokesman of the council, recently
