Kano State governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has disclosed that his administration will soon inaugurate new commissioners due to the absence of others in the Executive Council Meeting as they have run for political offices, wishing them success in the 2023 general election.
The list, according the governor, would be submitted to the state House of Assembly for screening, which, God willing, would continue to bring good governance in the state.
He made the announcement during the weekly Executive Council Meeting held at Government House on Wednesday.
“For sometimes, many of us engaged in politics and national assignments, and some of your colleagues have resigned and succeeded in becoming candidate of various elective positions.
We wish them good luck and we believe they will win the election. “Very soon, we will fill in the gaps that are existing with the new appointments in the Kano State Executive Council Membership.
“The list would be submitted to Kano State House of Assembly for Screening,” he declared.
