Kano State Acting Governor, Alhaji Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has commiserated with the family and the Lebanese community in the country over the passing of a notable hotelier, Mr.Tahir Fadlallah.
He said: “I received the news of the death of Mr. Fadlallah with shock.”
Gawuna pointed out that the late hotelier had made remarkable contributions to the development of the state as a business man and philanthropist which culminated to the solid and cordial relationship with the government and people of Lebanon.
“He will be greatly missed. I therefore on behalf of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the government and people of Kano State extend our condolence to the deceased’s family and his friends,” Alhaji Gawuna commiserated.
The Acting Governor also urged the family to take equanimity of the deceased’s loss to death, describing death as inevitable to everybody.
He prayed that Almighty Allah bless the soul of the deceased and reward him with Jannatul Firdaus.
