Kano State Government has awarded certificate of commendation to the state Tipper Drivers Association for their support and assistance to the successful completion of the 2021 Keep Kano Clean exercise.
The state chairman of the association, Alhaji Ado Umar Santa Lungu disclosed this to newsmen in an interview shortly after the last month sanitation exercise, stating that the certificate was in recognition to the association’s contributions to the annual drainage clearance programme organized by the state Ministry of Environment.
He further said the government has recognized the sacrifice of the association of deploying personal vehicles and labour for the exercise, assuring to continue demonstrating their commitment to partner with the state government in its effort to ensure sustainable development.
Lungu commended the state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and the commissioner of environment for their commitment towards promoting healthcare system.
He thanked members of the association for their usual cooperation and support towards developing the state.
