The Emir of Karaye, Alhaji (Dr). Ibrahim Abubakar II has stressed the need for the National Amalgamated Union for Mass Education to insert adult education in addition to its skills training programme.
The Emir made the remarks while receiving the executive members of the union who paid him an advocacy visit in his palace.
Alhaji Abubakar II maintained that the measure, if implemented, would enable people who have not attended classes at their tender age to acquire both Western and religious education.
He assured the union that the Nadoji palace would remain committed in supporting its activities.
Earlier, the National Director of the union, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim said the union had set to train 1,000 people on various skills accusation in the state.
Alhaji Ibrahim disclosed that women and people with special needs are to be given priority, a statement issued to The Triumph by Karaye Information Officer, Haruna Gunduwawa, has revealed.
