Kano State Zakkah and Hubsi Commission has officially released certificate of appreciation to those who paid their obligatory alms through the agency, to serve as evidence of the payment.
Presenting the Zakkah certificate for this year to the chairman of Ammasco International Limited, Alhaji Muhammad Mustapha Ado, the Director-General of the commission, Alhaji Safiyanu Ibrahim Abubakar disclosed that the purpose of their visit was to present the certificate to the recipient as an appreciation for what he gave to the agency as Zakkah.
Alhaji Abubakar urged wealthy individuals and organizations to emulate what the chairman did in order to reduce financial hardship engulfing the poor and needy as well as disabled persons in the state.
He further cherished the effort of the chairman and saluted him for the respect he has for Islamic religion, appealing to him to sustain the tempo of giving out alms to the commission and people surrounding him.
In his remark, Alhaji Ado thanked Almighty Allah for giving him the health and opportunity to witness the event, revealing that he has never wasted time in payment of obligatory alms as ordained by the religion.
The chairman, who spoke through his Managing Director, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad Mustapha thanked the management of the commission for the visit, promising to comply with government directive along this line.
Those who accompanied the Director-General to the venue included Director Administration and General Services, Mustapha Ibrahim Fagge; Director Operation, Shehu Muhammad Nata`ala and Director PRS, Yunusa Haruna as well as other senior staff of the commission, as contained in a statement from the agency’s spokesman, Muta`addif Ibrahim Babakaina and made available to The Triumph, recently.
