Kano State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has described the death of the father of member House of Representatives, representing Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency, Hon. Ali Datti Yako, Alhaji Datti Magaji Yako, as a great loss to the state.
“The sad information about the death of this gentleman reached us few hours back. It is indeed a great loss to all of us in the state. Beyond his immediate families and his local government,” mourned the governor.
“As a man of honour, respect and discipline, late Alhaji Datti Magaji Yako lived a life full of righteousness and value to the people he lived with. He was an honest community leader, who lived by example,” he said.
He urged members of his immediate families to copy from late Yako’s generosity, focus in life, determination, patriotic posture and above all love for his people.
Governor Ganduje extended that, “On behalf of the government and people of Kano State I am extending our condolences to Honourable Ali Datti Yako and all members of the immediate families of the deceased, including the people of his town Yako and the entire Kiru local government.”
“May Allah see him through in life after death. May Allah Forgive him and reward him abundantly. May Jannatul Fiddaus be his final abode, ameen,” the governor prayed.
