Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has commiserated with the family of Alhaji Haruna Zago over the death of his biological brother, Alhaji Sha’aibu Haruna Zago who passed away recently in the state.
Alhaji Ahmad Haruna Zago is a Special Assistant to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on Food and Security.
The governor, who led his entire cabinets, local government chairmen included, to the family, prayed for Allah (SWT) to grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
Responding, the Special Assistant to the Governor expressed his appreciation and thanked the governor for the kind gesture he has been showing to the family for years.
“As a governor, he came here three times. He came when my mother passed away; he came when my aunty died, and today, for the demise of my elder brother, the governor is still here with the family along with his entire cabinets.
“We have nothing to say than to thank him for this magnanimity. What he is doing is what Islam prescribed any Muslim to do. It is not about duniya (here), it is about hereafter.
“The governor is blessed with this and, insha Allah, Jannatul Firdaus will be his last abode,” said Zago.
He also thanked those who accompanied the governor and asked for unity among the members of the party (APC), saying: “APC is our party, all of us; we need to unite ourselves and anything that will bring misunderstanding among us. May Allah (SWT) disassociate us with it.”
