Kano State governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has paid a condolence visit to the family of Ambassador Umar Wali over the death of his son, Alhaji Ali Umar Wali, who died recently following a protracted illness.
The governor, represented by his deputy, Alhaji Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, described the death of the deceased as a great loss not only to his family but to the entire state.
“The death of late Ali Umar Wali has been and will continue to be a great loss to you, his family and to us, the people of Kano State. We will continue to pray to Allah to grant him mercy and forgiveness,” said Ganduje.
The governor also prayed to Allah (SWT) to give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Dr. Ganduje also paid a condolence visit to the family Alhaji Muhammad Baba over the death of his wife, Hajiya Asma’u Muhammad Baba, a staff of the state Ministry of Education and also a senior sister to Alhaji Hafiz Muhammad, Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corp, Kaduna State Office.
Similarly, the governor was at Bakin Zuwo Quarters in the municipality to condole with the family of Khalifa Abdu Rabbi Bakin Zuwo.
Khalifa Abdu Rabbi, a prominent Islamic preacher, died recently after a protracted illness.
