*Donates N3.6m to families

Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has paid condolence visit to the families of 18 Doguwa flood victims and gave the sum of N200,000 to each of the victims family.
He prayed for the reposed souls of those who died as a result of the heavy downpour which resulted into flood that was not witnessed long before now.
“When the information of this sad tragedy reached us we were seriously shocked. May Allah forgive the victims, who died as martyrs, being washed away by flood. May He give them the ultimate reward of Jannatul Fiddaus, ameen,” governor prayed.
They came from Doguwa town of Doguwa Local Government Area, about 200 kilometers away from Kano metropolis.
Governor Ganduje was in the company of the House Leader, House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, party leaders and elders, some commissioners and members of the State Executive Counci, advisers and other top government functionaries.
Families of the victims expressed their appreciation to the governor and his entourage and prayed for successful completion of his tenure, come 2023
