Traditional Institutions as custodians of people’s culture,norms and values has a great role in behavioral and attitudinal changes in the society for development.
The Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari made this remarks during a special prayers session to mark a one year anniversary of His Highness Alhaji Aminu Dr Ado Bayero the Emir of Kano Aminu Ado Bayero held at Kano Central Mosque, yesterday.
Speaker Chidari further saluted the emir over his leadership and urged him to continue with this stylistic system for the betterment of his subject.
Engr. Chidari also said the state Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje placed high premium on the traditional institutions appealing to the Emir to always organized similar prayers session for the overall development of the dtate.
In his speech, the Emir of Kano thanked the speaker and the state government for its utmost concern to the development of the Emirate and assured their cooperation at all the times.
The prayers session was attended by the Deputy Speaker, Zubairu Hamza Massu, Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Alhaji Muhammad Tahar Adam and district heads of Kano Emirate among others, as revealed to by Uba Abdullahi, the
