COVID-19 resurfacing: Kano Assembly postpone sessions

Kano State House of Assembly has  postponed its resumption date until further notice due to compliance with the stay-at-home directive by the state government.

 A statement issued and signed by the Director of Press to the Assembly, Uba Abdullahi and made available to The Triumph, yesterday noted that the House was earlier scheduled to resume tomorrow.

According to the statement, the speaker assured that his colleagues will comply with the directive in support of the state government efforts to prevent the spread of the virus.

Hon. Chidari commended the state governor for taking appropriate measures to address the pandemic.

He appealed to citizens to adhere with the pandemic protocols and to continue to pray for the end of the it, not only in the state, but the country at large.
