It is barely two weeks, the APC National Leader and a former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu had made his intentions known to President Muhammadu Buhari of his long political ambition to rule the nation come 2023.
Reacting to the report, a youth support group known as ‘GYB2PYB’ for Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has advocated for the Kogi governor to become the next President after President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023, asking Tinubu to withdraw his political ambition of becoming the president and allow the young person to occupy the office of the president this time around.
The Director-General of the group, Amb. Oladele John Nihi, who made the call at a press conference in Abuja, said asked Tinubu to withdraw his “Life-long ambition” from becoming the president of the nation and join hand with them and other people of the nation to support the young person to win the office of the president in 2023.
According to him, on January 14 precisely, the idea of Governor Bello to President Bello was conceived and set to motion with the help of well-meaning Nigerians who believed in the total reformation and cleansing of the nation.
He said: “GYB2PYB is just a year old. The lion has only wagged his tail and is getting set to roar and dominate precisely January 14, 2021.
“An ultimatum of 14 days was issued to his Excellency Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello to accept the call on him to contest for the presidency come 2023.”
He said as supporters for Bello, they believed that the governor is gigantic while they are committed to help him in achieving his set objectives and aspirations.
He said they only wait patiently for the Pandora’s Box to be let open following the acceptance by the governor and his declaration to run for president.
